BSC Bengals Briggs 16U Finish Third in 2023 PGF Premier

BSC Bengals Briggs 16U would not give up nor give in during 2023 PGF Premier bracket play. After winning their first three games, dropping down to the bottom of the bracket did not stop them. They won four games on Thursday and two on Friday to force the “If” game before finally falling to Sorcerers Gann for a third place finish.

2023 PGF 12U National Champions: Bengals CKM!

BSC Bengals CKM 12U beat Arizona Storm – Kobasew 8-0 to become 2023 PGF 12U National Champions! Bengals CKM got off to a good start, scoring one run in the first and three in the second. Strong pitching and defense kept the Storm off the scoreboard and the Bengals scored three more in the bottom of the fifth to force the run rule.

“Who’S NexT” Scholarship Presentation & Dinner

The Briggs “Who’S NexT” Scholarship Foundation Presentation and Dinner was held Friday July 7. Briggs Softball Club honored its senior players and scholarships were awarded to three deserving players:

  • Laci Berecichea, Paris Junior College
  • Ciara Loken, Eastern New Mexico University
  • Malayna Terrones, Cal State Long Beach

The Briggs “Who’S NexT?” Scholarship Fund is used to assist Bengals softball players with college tuition and in other ways consistent with Briggs softball philosophy.
